Animal Transport Certificate of Competence Assessment Only.

If you are involved in the transportation of animals by road on short journeys (over 65km and up to 8 hours duration) this qualification will ensure you meet the requirement for a Certificate of Competence outlined in the Council Regulation (EC) No1/2005 on the Protection of Animals During Transport and the Welfare of Animals(Transport) Order 2006.Duration of Assessment: 1 Hour

Assessment only: £95 +VAT

Tuition and assessment: £150 Plus VAT

Accreditation: City & Guilds/NPTC

The qualification is species specific (e.g. cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, poultry, horses, game birds). It covers the legal requirements, journey planning, vehicle suitability, fitness to travel, causes and signs of stress in animals, space allowances, stocking densities, handling and animal welfare in transit and post journey requirements.

Please note this is a lifetime certificate no refreshers or resits are required.
