We have just the course for you. Our Novice Telehandler Course.
The telehandler is a highly versatile piece of equipment, also known as a telescopic handler. It is a telescopic forklift that can lift loads and extend or retract its telescopic arms to adjust its maximum reach and lift height. Telehandlers are also called a lift truck, teleporter, reach forklift, forklift or zoom boom, and is widely used in the agriculture and construction industry.
There are many jobs which require a telehandler.
The main uses for a telehandler is to lift pallets or fill trucks with the bucket, with the ability to suspend loads with a chain or shift heavy loads to areas that otherwise would be difficult to reach.
We recently ran a telehandler course with all participants being female. Signing up for a course with Vicky Anderson not only equips you with the knowledge and skills but also the confidence required to operate a telehandler efficiently, protecting both you and those around you.
As per the HSE Approved Code of Practice, telescopic material handlers should only be driven by authorised, trained, and competent people who have completed the appropriate training and testing.
