Fire Safety Awareness Course

The Course aims are to raise the learners awareness of Fire safety within their area of work and enable the learner to realize the importance of good housekeeping and the importance of fire precautions. Following the course the learners will understand their company specific fire action plan.

At the end of the session learners will be able to:

• Identify principal workplace hazards.
• Understand the principals of fire and fire spread.
• State the importance of fire precautions.
• Explain the theory of combustion / Fire triangle.
• Understand the importance of fire safety
• Recognise different types of fire extinguishers.
• Discuss the correct storage of materials.
