Animal Transport Certificate of Competence.
(Short Journeys (over 65kms, approximately 40 miles and up to 8 hours)
Who should do this assessment?
Anyone transporting live animals as part of their business or economic activity will be trained and competent. Those requiring to gain a Certificate of Competence will need to have it in place by 5 January 2008’ (amended to 30 April 08)
This assessment has been put together taking in to account for current European Animal Welfare Regulations
The six species available are cattle, sheep, horses, goats, pigs & poultry
Cattle and sheep can be taken as a single module but each of the other species require a seperate module. Please book a sufficient number of modules for your needs and specify the species you require in the comments box at the checkout. We will confirm your actual requirements once your booking is confirmed.
Duration: 1 hour test (Computer Multiple Choice)
1 hour tuition if required
Maximum: 4 learners
